Additive manufacturing is a versatile and cost-effective way to produce customized parts. Carbon’s M2 3D printer both helps eliminate high costs and time delays, while also providing the speed and flexibility for both prototyping and production applications.
What makes this printer unique? The Carbon M2 allows for different designs that reduce the need for structural supports. This results in less clean up time, lower post production labor and a more rapid turnaround time. A parallel printer (such as the Carbon M2) can print multiple items simultaneously on the build plate rather than a filament printer printing line by line. By combining DLP® Light Technology and Carbon’s clip technology it cures everything in a row at the same time using a flash of DLP® light allowing for quicker print times. Another key advantage of this printer is having a variety of materials; whether you need a rigid product or something more flexible, the Carbon activates a wide variety of materials that will work for you.
