SabeRex Hosts Summer Blood Drive

Earlier this month SabeRex hosted The Blood and Tissue Center of Central Texas for a bloodmobile drive at the TyRex Technology Family facility. SabeRex hosts at least 4 drives each year, allowing employees and other walk-ins from around the business neighborhood to donate regularly. Emily Smith (pictured) has been donating blood routinely since she was 17. Along with everyone else who contributed, Emily received a special “Summer Blood Donor” t-shirt courtesy of The Blood and Tissue Center. Seventeen total pints of blood were collected at this month’s blood drive. With this latest drive, SabeRex Project Manager and blood drive coordinator Carlos Mojica reached the 4-gallon milestone. Congratulations, Carlos, and a big thanks for coordinating the blood drives for the last 6 years!  Another big thank you to our business neighbors and all of the employees who participated. This commitment to hosting a drive and donating blood helps ensure that life-sustaining blood is available to those in need.
