Materials in Focus: EPU 40Morgan Humburg
Here at SabeRex Additive Manufacturing, we realize that material choice is everything. That’s why we’ve started our Materials in Focus series where we highlight the unique properties of the resins and filaments we work with. While the information we provide is only the tip of the iceberg, we hope it will provide a starting point for your product’s journey into Additive Manufacturing.
In this continuation of our Materials in Focus video series, we highlight the EPU 40 Resin for Carbon Printers. This resin is a high performance polyurethane elastomer with 310% elongation at break. As a part of the elastomeric material family, it’s ideal for applications that require high elasticity and tear resistance. EPU 40 offers a combination of tear strength, energy return, and elongation that makes it perfect for cushioning, impact absorption, vibration isolation, gaskets, and seals. Watch the video below for more information on this resin!
